Born in 1954 in Otterstedt/Germany, Dietmar Plath is one of the world’s most experienced photographers between heaven and earth. He has travelled to more than 120 countries on all the continents in order to capture and present to the public interesting aircraft in the most eye-catching and exotic colors and liveries and in fascinating landscapes. His varied repertoire is demonstrated not only by many calendars but also numerous aviation books and photo editions as well as by photo-features in magazines such as GEO, Stern, Time, Aero International and Flight International. Since1997 he has been Editor-in-Chief of Aero International.
